Intellectual Safety Tips :: Tip #41
"atheism does not need to be justified"
Freedom of association is a human right, and so it follows logically that, to exercise freedoms, justification is not necessary. Being an atheist means that one is associated with the atheism classification, and any attempt to demand justification for being an atheist is really just an attempt to introduce a "burden of proof" despite it being logically reasonable for atheists to not be required to justify not believing in any deities.
